Science can be not only educational, but also fascinating and fun. That was exactly the spirit of the student festival STEAM UP, held on 18–19 September 2025 at the Grammar School in Kráľovský Chlmec — and the EASTGATEH2V project could not be missing.
Over the course of two days, students had the chance to explore the world of robotics, digital technologies, and natural sciences through interactive activities. The programme included programming LEGO robots, conducting scientific experiments, and stargazing. The festival confirmed that even at the regional level, young people can be offered a modern perspective on technology and engineering.
Our partner PEDAL Consulting was also present thanks to the Project Manager Lea Bellušová. She introduced students to the GreenVOCnet project, focused on vocational education, the use of digital tools, and the topic of hydrogen.
At the PEDAL Consulting stand, the EASTGATEH2V project was also showcased. It gave students the opportunity to discuss how hydrogen can influence transport, industry, and everyday life in the future.
The festival had an international dimension thanks to the participation of partner schools from Hungary. It brought not only new knowledge but also inspiration — showing that the path to innovation begins already in the classroom.
We thank the organisers for the excellent atmosphere and all the teachers who continually inspire the young generation to discover science and technology
