As the first Hydrogen Valley in Slovakia, we
see it as our natural responsibility to foster cooperation with experts and
follow the latest energy trends. That’s why we joined the stakeholder
roundtable held in Bratislava on 12 September 2025. The event was organized by
the Slovak
Construction Entrepreneurs Association
as part of the BungEES
(LIFE) project.
The discussion brought together representatives of Voltalis, the Slovak Energy Communities Cluster
(KEKS), and OKTE.
It focused on topics that are also
crucial for us:
- the development of local renewable energy sources,
- the introduction of smart energy services.
Everyone agreed on one key point: the future of
energy lies at the intersection of
sustainability, digitalization, and cooperation.
The EASTGATEH2V project was represented by our partner PEDAL Consulting.
They presented our activities and opened the doorto new synergies and
collaborations. We remain open to
expanding our network of partners who wish to takepart in Slovakia’s hydrogen
future.
Cooperation and Local Roots Are Key
In the Košice Region, hydrogen will be
produced exclusively from renewable energy sources (RES). That is why we are
closely involved in developing local RES and new energy services. These are the
cornerstones of our vision – ensuring that hydrogen solutions are clean,
efficient, and accessible for industry, transport, and households.
The discussion in Bratislava confirmed that
Slovakia has the potential to stand at the center of Europe’s energy
transformation.
EASTGATEH2V aims to deliver solutions that will help
decarbonize buildings, enable clean mobility, and strenghten communities.
The energy systems of the future are being
built today. Thanks to EASTGATEH2V, they have a strong foothold in Slovakia.
