Local hydrogen production supports emission reduction, strengthens energy security, and contributes to a sustainable future for the Ko\u0161ice Region.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h3><strong>The role of W2H2 KSK in the EASTGATEH2V project<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>As the main technical partner, W2H2 KSK is responsible for developing and operating the core infrastructure needed for hydrogen production and supply.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>W2H2 KSK is in charge of:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>preparing the site for a <strong>2 \u00d7 2 MW electrolyser<\/strong>,<\/li>\n<li>leading the design, permitting, procurement and construction of <strong>hydrogen compression, storage and refuelling technologies<\/strong>,<\/li>\n<li>managing logistics and the regional distribution of the produced hydrogen.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The hydrogen will be used to power buses, a waste collection truck, a tourist boat, drones and selected industrial operations.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>W2H2 KSK will also ensure carbon footprint monitoring and certification of <strong>Guarantees of Origin<\/strong> in line with EU standards.
