As a key regional authority, KSK connects innovation, climate ambitions, and long-term territorial development.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h3><strong>KSK\u2019s Key Role in EASTGATEH2V<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>KSK oversees the entire implementation process\u2014from strategic vision and planning to partner coordination and delivery of project outcomes.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>As project coordinator, KSK:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>coordinates <strong>20 partners from 7 countries<\/strong>,<\/li>\n<li>manages all work packages, including planning, communication, and reporting,<\/li>\n<li>ensures alignment with EU and regional climate policies,<\/li>\n<li>leads the development of a <strong>comprehensive regional hydrogen ecosystem<\/strong>, covering production, distribution, infrastructure, and real-life use cases.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Hydrogen Leadership in the Region<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Ko\u0161ice Region is recognized as a pioneer in hydrogen development in Slovakia:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>developed the <strong>first regional hydrogen strategy<\/strong> in the country, ahead of the national strategy,<\/li>\n<li>collaborates closely with the Technical University of Ko\u0161ice (TUKE) and private sector partners,<\/li>\n<li>co-funded the development of fuel cells, hydrogen buses, and a hydrogen tourist boat,<\/li>\n<li>purchased H2 bikes and actively promotes hydrogen as a safe and clean energy source.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Hydrogen buses, boats, drones, and other applications will soon operate within one integrated regional system\u2014making Ko\u0161ice Region a demonstration model for hydrogen mobility and innovation.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Vision for the Future<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>KSK aims to introduce <strong>carbon-neutral mobility<\/strong>, strengthen regional energy resilience, and become an exemplary hydrogen transformation hub for Central and Eastern Europe.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>As the project coordinator, KSK embodies public leadership, strong regional commitment, and forward-looking innovation.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Learn more about the coordinator:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kosickazupa.sk\">https:\/\/www.kosickazupa.sk<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Contact Person: <\/strong><strong>Katar\u00edna Sasar\u00e1kov\u00e1<\/strong><br \/>E-mail: <strong>katarina.sasarakova@vucke.sk<\/strong><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Ko\u0161ice Self-governing Region serves as the main coordinator of the EASTGATEH2V project, leading the creation of Slovakia\u2019s first fully integrated hydrogen ecosystem.
