Our project partner <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tomarkproton.eu\/\"><strong>Tomark Proton<\/strong><\/a> is taking innovation to new heights. Slovakia\u2019s innovation in clean aviation was recently showcased on <a href=\"https:\/\/joj24.noviny.sk\/spektrum-24\/1125055-spektrum-24-o-vodikovom-lietadle-z-presova\"><strong>TV JOJ<\/strong><\/a>.<br>The program <a href=\"https:\/\/joj24.noviny.sk\/spektrum-24\"><em>Spektrum 24<\/em><\/a> featured the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tomarkproton.eu\/ipcei\"><strong>H2 VTOL project<\/strong><\/a>, a pioneering hydrogen-powered aircraft developed in Pre\u0161ov. Among the key topics: sustainable aviation, European cooperation, and the role of the <strong>EASTGATEH2V Hydrogen Valley<\/strong> in connecting innovation with real-world impact.<br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video height=\"558\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 792 \/ 558;\" width=\"792\" controls src=\"https:\/\/www.eastgateh2v.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Karticka-k-masu-1.mp4\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>From Pre\u0161ov to Europe<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>H2 VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing)<\/strong> project is part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/ipcei.observatory.clean-hydrogen.europa.eu\/\"><strong>IPCEI on Hydrogen<\/strong><\/a> \u2014 a European initiative supporting breakthrough technologies. Led by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tomarkproton.eu\/\"><strong>Tomark Proton<\/strong><\/a>, the Slovak company behind the first hydrogen aircraft prototype, the project demonstrates how hydrogen can power not only vehicles and industries, but also the skies.<br><strong>H2 VTOL combines advanced aeronautics with zero-emission hydrogen propulsion. Its goal: prove that sustainable aviation is achievable today \u2014 not decades from now.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>EASTGATEH2V \u2014 linking regional innovation<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>During the broadcast, <strong>EASTGATEH2V<\/strong> was highlighted as a cornerstone of Slovakia\u2019s hydrogen ecosystem. The project connects production, storage, and use of renewable hydrogen \u2014 enabling initiatives like H2 VTOL to thrive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By building a regional value chain, EASTGATEH2V provides the foundation for new applications in transport, energy, and mobility \u2014 including air transport. Together, we show how cooperation between research, business, and regional government accelerates real transformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A shared vision of clean mobility<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The TV segment also underlined the growing importance of <strong>hydrogen technologies<\/strong> for Slovakia\u2019s future.
