The event was organized by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mhsr.sk\/\"><strong data-start=\"1136\" data-end=\"1182\">Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic<\/strong><\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/nvas.sk\/\"><strong data-start=\"1191\" data-end=\"1243\">National Hydrogen Association of Slovakia (NVAS)<\/strong><\/a>, with <strong data-start=\"1250\" data-end=\"1265\">EASTGATEH2V<\/strong> proudly joining as a partner of this event.<\/p><p data-start=\"772\" data-end=\"920\">More than <strong data-start=\"1316\" data-end=\"1331\">150 experts<\/strong> from industry, academia, municipalities, and public administration met to discuss how Slovakia can strengthen its position in Europe\u2019s clean energy data-end=\"1549\">Building the hydrogen ecosystem of tomorrow<\/h3><p><a href=\"https:\/\/nvas.sk\/h2sk-forum-25\/\">H2SK FORUM<\/a> connected ideas, policies, and projects that are shaping the future of hydrogen in Central Europe.<br data-start=\"1660\" data-end=\"1663\" \/>European leaders <strong data-start=\"1680\" data-end=\"1722\">Jorgo Chatzimarkakis (<a href=\"https:\/\/hydrogeneurope.eu\/\">Hydrogen Europe<\/a>)<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"1727\" data-end=\"1785\">Val\u00e9rie Bouillon-Delporte (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.clean-hydrogen.europa.eu\/index_en\">Clean Hydrogen Partnership<\/a>)<\/strong> outlined Europe\u2019s goals for 2030:<\/p><ul><li>80% self-sufficiency in hydrogen production<\/li><li>fourfold increase in synthetic fuel output.<\/li><\/ul><p>Representatives of Slovak industry \u2014 <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/slovnaft.sk\/sk\/o-nas\/nasa-spolocnost\/\">Slovnaft<\/a><\/strong> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.duslo.sk\/\"><strong>Duslo<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0\u2014 shared their decarbonisation experiences and challenges, highlighting the importance of stable regulation and support for <strong data-start=\"2107\" data-end=\"2122\">RFNBO fuels<\/strong> (renewable fuels of non-biological origin).<\/p><p data-start=\"2170\" data-end=\"2332\">At the regional level, the <strong data-start=\"2197\" data-end=\"2225\">V4 countries and Austria<\/strong> agreed that new investment incentives and simplified rules are essential to scale hydrogen technologies.<\/p><h3 data-start=\"2339\" data-end=\"2397\">EASTGATEH2V \u2013 a Slovak success story that stands out<\/h3><p data-start=\"2399\" data-end=\"2668\">Among the showcased initiatives, the <strong data-start=\"2436\" data-end=\"2467\">EASTGATEH2V Hydrogen Valley<\/strong> drew particular attention.<br data-start=\"2494\" data-end=\"2497\" \/>Presented by our coordinator \u2013 <strong data-start=\"2510\" data-end=\"2533\">Katar\u00edna Sasar\u00e1kov\u00e1<\/strong> from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kosickazupa.sk\/\"><strong data-start=\"2543\" data-end=\"2575\">Ko\u0161ice Self-Governing Region<\/strong><\/a>, the project was recognised as a <strong data-start=\"2609\" data-end=\"2665\">model example of regional cooperation and innovation<\/strong>.<\/p><p data-start=\"2670\" data-end=\"2931\">EASTGATEH2V connects green hydrogen production, storage, and use in transport and industry \u2014 all within a single regional ecosystem. It demonstrates how science, business, and local governments can work together to make clean hydrogen part of everyday life.<\/p><p data-start=\"2670\" data-end=\"2931\">The response was very positive. Experts from across Europe referred to EASTGATEH2V as a <strong data-start=\"3033\" data-end=\"3086\">reference point for regional hydrogen development<\/strong> \u2014 proving that Slovak regions can lead Europe\u2019s green transformation. EASTGATEH2V is part of the <strong data-start=\"3187\" data-end=\"3258\"><a class=\"decorated-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.clean-hydrogen.europa.eu\/\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\" data-start=\"3189\" data-end=\"3256\">Clean Hydrogen Partnership<\/a><\/strong> and the network of <strong data-start=\"3278\" data-end=\"3342\"><a class=\"decorated-link\" href=\"https:\/\/h2v.eu\/hydrogen-valleys?utm_source=chatgpt.com\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\" data-start=\"3280\" data-end=\"3340\">European Hydrogen Valleys<\/a><\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p><p
