Founded in <strong>1972<\/strong> and headquartered in Bratislava, the company operates pipelines that connect Slovakia with <strong>Ukraine, Hungary, Austria, the Czech Republic and Poland<\/strong>, forming a major gas crossroads in Central Europe.<\/p>\n<p>A system of four parallel pipelines and modern compressor stations ensures safe and reliable gas transport for European markets. Eustream is investing in green technologies and preparing its infrastructure for the future transport of <strong>low-carbon and renewable gases, including hydrogen<\/strong>. With its strategic position and expertise, Eustream is an important partner of the EASTGATEH2V project.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h3><strong>The role of Eustream in the EASTGATEH2V project<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Eustream joins the project as the <strong>operator of strategic gas infrastructure<\/strong>, enabling the import of renewable hydrogen from Ukraine. By adapting part of its network, it will open a new route for delivering clean energy directly to the region.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Eustream will be involved in:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>analysing how hydrogen production and consumption in the region could expand and what transmission capacity will be needed,<\/li>\n<li>evaluating <strong>technical, economic and regulatory options<\/strong> for adapting the existing gas network to hydrogen transport,<\/li>\n<li>working with <strong>Ko\u0161ice Airport<\/strong> to explore hydrogen applications in aviation and develop an integrated H\u2082 ecosystem within the airport area,<\/li>\n<li>cooperating with <strong>SPP \u2013 distrib\u00facia<\/strong> to assess how end-users in the region could be supplied with hydrogen through the existing distribution network,<\/li>\n<li>preparing a detailed study with Ukrainian partners to assess the feasibility of <strong>cross-border hydrogen transmission<\/strong> from technical, economic and environmental perspectives.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to Eustream, the Ko\u0161ice Hydrogen Valley will be connected to European networks and may become <strong>a gateway for hydrogen imports from Ukraine to the EU<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Learn more about Eustream:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eustream.sk\/en\/\">https:\/\/www.eustream.sk\/en\/<\/a><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Eustream is the key operator of Slovakia\u2019s natural gas transmission network.
