This week, Antwerp becomes the meeting point for experts, projects and industry to discuss the future of hydrogen in Europe. The third edition of the EU Hydrogen Valleys Days 2026 once again confirms its role as a key platform for sharing experience and connecting stakeholders across the entire hydrogen value chain.

Organised by the Clean Hydrogen Partnership, the event brings together representatives from research, industry, the public sector and project consortia. The common goal is to move hydrogen solutions from plans into practice and accelerate their real deployment in regions.

The discussion focuses on practical experience from project implementation. Participants share what works, what challenges arise and which approaches prove to be most effective. An important topic is also how the Hydrogen Valley concept itself is evolving in response to real market, infrastructure and regulatory conditions.

One of the key highlights of the programme is Session 2: Learning from experience – Recent developments in the H2 Valleys, taking place on 6 May. The session will provide insights into the latest projects, their progress and lessons learned from across Europe.

Among the speakers is Katarína Sasaráková from the Košice Self-Governing Region, representing the EASTGATEH2V project. She will share insights from building Slovakia’s first Hydrogen Valley and bring a perspective from Central and Eastern Europe.

EU Hydrogen Valleys Days 2026 highlights that hydrogen development is not only about technology, but also about collaboration, coordination and knowledge sharing. These elements will be key in bringing hydrogen into everyday use across energy, transport and industry in Europe.
